Free Shazam Plays, Public-Track URL

Free Shazam play credits attach to a track URL exposed in the Shazam app or web. On Shazam, a "play" is a recognition or a listen triggered from the result screen, not an arbitrary stream count, so credits flow into a counter that Shazam itself reads to compute its charts.

Use the public Shazam track link

Open the song in Shazam, tap Share, then Copy link. That is the canonical track URL the credit attaches to. Album and artist URLs hold a different counter and our validation will reject them before the order runs.

Plays move the trend chart, not the artist page

Shazam's regional and global discovery charts are computed from play volume in a rolling window. A concentrated push on a fresh track has more chart impact than the same volume spread over months, so plan free credits around release windows.

Shazam updates with a delay

The credit is recorded immediately on our side, but Shazam reads its index periodically. The public counter usually catches up within hours, sometimes a full day. If your dashboard shows the credit complete before Shazam reflects it, that is normal.

For a release window or playlist push, the paid plays pack delivers in scheduled batches so you can line up the curve with the rest of your campaign. The free flow is reliable for testing whether a single promoted track is gaining traction.
